Big probelm (at least for me) please help

wen i try to play my friend rose server i run the rose launcher and then wen i get to the white page with the triggersoft thing it jsut crashes with no messages is it because im using window vista?

that shouldn`t be the case, a lot of people that play on the server I am a GM at can play rose perfectly fine, and they use Vista.
