Woman Jailed For Killing Husbands Maple Story Character
Online gaming has gone to new extremes. In a story by the associated press they detail how a woman who was mad at her husban took revenge by killing his online virtual character in a game called “Maple Story”
The man was so upset at the killing of his virtual MMORPG character that he called the police and reported the killing. The police then put the women in jail on suspicion of illegally accessing a computer and manipulating electronic data, used his ID and password and killed is character. While she hasn't been formally charged she can be fined up to $5000 and put in jail for 5years for the offense
Think twice before you decide to take revenge on your spouse by logging into their game account and trying to kill them off,l While this isnt the first time someone has committed such offense it is starting to become more and more common for them to be prosecuted
