bittorent problem

i have a 5gb download and im at 99% where my conection got cut off.
I start it again and WHAM, i have a share rating of 45.000 my upload speed is around 300 and i have no download speed

WTF!?!?!?!?!???!?!?!?!

its 50mb but untill bittorrent starts to download takes forever.. and it sometimes stops ect ...

things ot know about bittorent

peers > seeds = peers must dl from other peers thus at hight % it will be harder to get it done

also what client ur using, some lets you cap the ul rate i would recomend ABC for that

Well.. No matter if peers > seeds you will still download from peers.. It does always make it harder to download a complete file the more of the file you have, however, as soon as you have a download spot on a seed you will have that spot untill either of you disconnect from the tracker.. so as long as there actually are seeds.. sooner or later you will get the file finished.. The whole system with torrents are good, except for those that gets disconnected from time to time.. for those ppl it kinda sux >_<
