Hello friends, I'm looking for someone who knows how to map Blackshot packets. Many know how bad BSC was because of Katana, and with that in mind, we want to build another server so everyone can play in peace, free from that tyranny. We already have a partial server, where character creation, server login, and lobby access are working, but the rest still needs to be completed, and we want help to bring joy to the community once again. What have you done so far i am a tad bit interested though i only use irc and these forums. I am very much so a person who enjoys privacy and security if you could expand on what you actually want to do.

A partial server meaning the database is working, login and register using what back end MSSQL? protges? The lobby access meaning it can track the location of what room you are in and you can do what?

Another question do you plan on moving all the server back end to work on unix-like systems this would scale better long term and is far cheaper and easier to secure if using Linux you can use epoll and on unix kquery and what programming languages are being used.

Netty is far easier and is now native for both and if written properly can be expanded long term to scale far above what a normal private server of any kind can use. If you want try hard mode you can use C or C++ libuv etc.

Please break down what you have and actually want to do also what is the income you have to work with. I normally work for free as its a hobby for me anymore i have a normal job that pays decently. I asked about income as server costs, domains, ddos protection long term etc are all factors.
