The brown recluse spider is the most dangerous spider in the world, its venom eats away at human flesh. Here are some pictures...

I think that the Funnel-Web spider is more dangerous, and painful.
Its bite can kill within 90minutes.

And this is the progression of the Brown Recluse bite...appearently you can't even feel it the
first time it bites, but after that it gets itchy, and then...hell.

Yes, the Sydney Funnel web is the most dangerous. The brown recluse causes the most damage, but it is very survivable. As mentioned, a funnel web can kill in less then an hour (if the bite is above your chest)
