Hey there, im looking for some good books i can buy online or find at a local bookstore to help me learn C#, also, don't give me links to online pdf books or whatever, i seriously can't learn a language on a computer for some reason, i get too distracted.

So any books or tips on getting me started would be much appericated.

Thanks :]

This is the book that I have bought and I'm loving it so far! I bought it for 40 us dollars and it
includes a CD with the source code for the lessons. The content ranges from creating web
applications to small widgets

I wouldn't learn through experimentation. I'm pretty good with C# and I learned it through several books and prior experience with Java. But all the books I read were in electronic format, so I have so suggestions. Just go to your local book store and see what's there, you're bound to find something good.

It may be the fact that I'm an advanced reader, but I'm 11, and I got this book from the library called C#: The Complete Reference by Herbert Schibt (<- A last name something like that. xP). It's old though, printed in 2002. And it's black and white.

But great detail on the classes and stuff!
