Cannot connect to gunz server!

Argh, I've been at this for days now, it just won't work, everything seems setup right, I've followed the tutorial 100%, with or without locator I just can't connect to my server.

With locator the server comes up as "Match Server 1" no matter what I do, and when I try to connect to it, it just sits there "Connecting.. connecting.." then tells me cannot access server after awhile.

And if I just run match server I can't even see the server in the server list box. Anyone have any ideas? I've tried July Gunz server, LG server, original ragezone.com server files.. nothing seems to work for me!

I currently have everything setup to use 127.0.0.1.. server.ini/Locator.ini connections etc.

Wow I just managed to make it work, using the dec. 2005 MatchServer.exe, it looks like my zitem.xml's weren't lined up.

Why do I have to connect to the LegacyGamers server list entry? How do I change this?

Well just connect to the pink LegacyGamers server and make sure the zitem.xml in the MatchServer is the same as the one on your system.mrs .. so like extract zitem.xml from system.mrs that came with the Patch_V2 and put that in your MatchServer folder.. and use the system.mrs and the Gunz.exe and update1.mrs to connect to the server..
