cant connect to chanel

I serched and read all manuals but still cant connect to chanell every one can log in but cant conect to chanel i set that players will connect to my wan ip but still don't work.
eny ideas why?

No idea whatsoever. There are about 2 dozen reasons it could be so we will need more than "it doesn't work". Have you checked your logs for errors? That is the very first thing you shoud be doing, even before posting!

Hey i know there is a fix for it, search can't connect to channel or something it's like a fix for bug where it takes too long to connect to channel. I wil try to look for it, after I did the fix though i instantly connect to the channels almost always.
Edit: make sure the port sql is listening to and ip/port server is using to connect to sql match.
Server Network utility for sql 2000
if ur using sql 2005 i believe it's like in options or something just look around settings/preferences or something like that.

In terminal mode on linux, type cd /var/log/cabal
and type ls
and simply type vim "insert log name here" to check your logs.
shift + zz i believe to exit out of vim mode.

sql is using 1433 but I can log in select chanell but cant get in to select charater

vhen selecting chaneel it show window failed to connect the server vhen I vant get in channel

That is actually an old bug that only exists in darkxl's files, mine were patched ages ago using the fixed globalmgrsvr youyou posted.

That doesn't make sense. Charachter creation/selection is done before entering the channel. Most problems with connections are either bad mssql settings in which case you normally don't get past the user/pass screen or char creation, or bad IP config which usually allows you past user/pass and char selection but not into the channel.

I recommend using winscp to connect to the centos machine and manually copying the logs from /var/log/cabal as it is much easier on people unfamiliar with linux than using vim to find errors. That way you also get a full set of logs so i get a complete snapshot of what is going on at the time of the login attempt.

I may have an even easier way in mind for my v3.0 repack... but i didn't just say that tt1:

chumpy if I will send you my logs you could tell me why I cant get in but if I will put centos local ip them probobly I will get in game. yes it does not mean sense to mee too because I can log in and see servers wich are open but I can't get in them and none one else but if I put there centos IP then I will be only one who can get in...so chumpy can I send you my logs?
