Can't get item ID

When i try to load my server everything goes well,
except the MainSvr there i get the follow error

Can't get item ID

my ODBC setting are good kal_auth kal_db etc.
But i dont get this parts of server making guide:

~Now copy and paste the address of the file "C:\Documents and Settings\Jared\Desktop\Kal.Server.Working.2006.09. 01\KALdb" that would be mine

~Still in options under "Move to physical file name" put that address so for me I would have "C:\Documents and Settings\Jared\Desktop\Kal.Server.Working.2006.09. 01\KALdb\KAL_AUTH.mdf"
Do the same thing for the log file as well.

and


now go back to your enterprise manager and select the kal_db and got the tables and then item right click on it and select design table make sure it looks like this
with the allow null and int as Info

i dont got any ports forwarded

Did u set in odbc wich db must read?Must be set on kal_auth & kal_db
About part u dont understand: This is more like some kind of backup files. So u can set where ever u want to set. Hint: u can chose another disk for it, u will see why.

thnx for responding yes i did set them on kal_auth & kal_db

My MSSQL Server runs but not on local but on GENERAL-133...
The ODBC setting are (local)

Ohh xD, then fix ODBC ^^. I guess u run MSSQL2005, so u need to copy from login (server name). thats why ur db and odbc can not be connected xD

i run MSSQL2000 i try to copy server name GENERAL-1335453 in ODBC but i still get: can't find itemID

Ok maybe i know your problem you need the ODBC Register Fix

How to use:
Klick on it and klick yes it very easy then start your server then it works... what repack you use? or clean server files?

then the problem with "cant get item id" is gone !

I think:
your databases are damaged so try the ones from dopes tool pack OR
you setup the ODBC wrong look that you follow the guide from dope

I can't realy help you, I just think the databases or the ODBC setuos is maybe wrong but more I can'T say so it's not very usefull to add me on msn^^

i only think that 1 thing can be wrong at my ODBC setup and that is do i have to set it
on: '(local)' or on 'GENERAL-etc.'
