Doing some car shopping tomorrow though i'm kinda cheating cos i already know what i want lol. Got my mind set on a 1990 Nissan 300ZX (Z32 aka "4th gen") which took ages to find because i had to find an automatic version due to my license restrictions (will take way too long to get my manual license, it took me more than 1 year to get my auto to begin with). Going at $9,900 (about $6,500 USD) i think it's pretty decent and it's only done about 180k km's (110k miles). The 300ZX's are pretty much my favorite cars and first got me loving Nissan's, so this is like my dream car.

Can't actually get approval for the finance (car loan) by myself so instead of getting my dad to be a "guarantor" i just decided to have the car under his name so he just has to get the loan and have me as a 2nd driver/owner. Makes it easier that way. Gonna go see and test drive it tomorrow and if i like it i'll get the paperwork then and there on the spot and drive them down to my dad at work. He'll sign em and fax them back so the finance approval can go through and i can hopefully get the car on Thursday. Cannot wait!

eBay stuff were a gift from my GF lol and i did win all 3 btw being shipped out today/tomorrow :P
Car is a kinda gift from dad, i'm making all the loan repayments but not too many parents would get a loan for their child so i suppose i am kinda lucky. I think partly he is doing this to show up my mum who said she'd help me get a car many many months ago and never did anything about it.

i literally spent 2 mins talking him into getting the loan for me lol...
me: Ey dad, so like i mentioned briefly yesterday, watcha think about getting a car loan for me?
dad : yeh ok, go see the car tomorrow and see if you like it. say i'm buying it since it'll be under my name, then just bring the forms to me so the finance process can start and be done by thursday.
me: sweet, ok.

Mm yea i did add in the line "i suppppoooosseeeee you could use it too SOMETIMES" :P He is not much of a gift person but if you do want/need something he'll get it for you. That's why i don't really bother with wanting xmas/bdays/ect gifts cos if i actually do need or want something he won't wait for these special occasions to give them cos i think it makes him feel like he's only doing it for that occasion and not because he wants to.

my boyfriend crashed his car about 3/4 months ago, and is now once again saving up to buy a new one. should be able to buy a new one in about 3 - 4 months, but he is looking for either a clio again, or a golf. depends which one costs more on insurance really,
and im also looking for a car soon, a nice little corsa, as soon as i pass my driving test :)

Engine size on the corsa? Most of my friends have regretted buying corsas, much better off with a fiesta or a new clio :)

Lewis.

when i'm turning 15(I'm 13) my mom's buying a new car and giving me her 1995 Honda Civic it's not the best car but it has good mileage and it's a beautiful baby :) good luck on shopping rish

I love Golf's; I just passed my test and I drive a '58 plate Golf GT. It's the nicest car I've drove by far - Yes I have drove quite a few cars already.

Went to see it today and although it was great, i had found a better one earlier this morning which i viewed after going to the dealership. It was awesome, exactly like the one i wanted but a) it had better seats b) it had about 50,000 less km's c) it was cherry red and d) it had a stock twin turbo engine in it.

Tested it today and fell in love with it, the car loan will go through tomorrow and if all's well i will be picking it up tomorrow night after work. Getting it for $9,000 btw not $9,500 as it is priced.

i bought my car '02 pontiac grand am, i like full size cars, it has a V6 so it can get up and go, i got mine for like $10k so i thought it was pretty good, i only paid $1k to ship it from Georgia to California, so im sure shipping cant be that bad (the cost was really $800 but i told the driver i would give him $200 if he would have it there by the next monday) but i think it was worth it

Are they going to ship it to you?
Or are you going to pick it up

Why would i ship it... ?
