Everything is fine, until i tried to use Telnet or wincsp ! i typed in the CentOS ip w/c is set to 192.168.1.3 cuz my windows ip is 192.168.1.2! i use Telnet / Wincsp when i connect! it always get an error! why is that? it cant connect to my CentOS ip! this is the 2nd tym is use this cuz i reformated, the last time everything was fine!

Thanks Ahead!

i am also using hamachi. . ^^:D:
thanks to all who helped ^_^

i have Question^_^:blushing:
What Client version and from what country is best recommended for this private server files by sir chumpy:?:

ok heres how i solved it sir..

In VMware Server Console

-->i clicked host on the menu on top some users you might use edit^_^
-->now click on virtual host settings
--
>then click on the 3rd tab Host Virtual Network Mapping
--
>change the VMnet0=Bridge Automatically to a chosen adapter
--
>to
VMnet0=(your network that is connected to the internet, wireless or wired)
-->now click apply then ok
Now on CentOS
-->Put your networking to "Dynamic"
"guide by dortdort"
First time you will see this screen: Welcome to Kudzu, Press any key to continue. CentOS will boot normally if you wait 30 seconds, but then at the next reboot you will see this screen again and again.

So do not wait! Press enter. now it asking you something, you got 3 options to chose, press on the left. (Remove Configuration).

Now you got more 3 options to chose, press again on the left one. (Configure). Now you have to configure your CentOS Lan IP, for example: if your windows lan ip is 10.0.0.1 then write in "IP address:" 10.0.0.2. if your windows lan ip is 192.168.2.1 then write 192.168.2.2. The Netmask is generate automaticlly and the same with the gateway and nameserver when you stand on it. you can erase the values and write yours if needed. if you are not sure about this press "Space" key when standing on "Use dynamic ip configuration (BOOTP/DHCP)" and the CentOS will look automaticlly for avaliable IP address from your router DHCP. you can anytime change this settings by writing the command "setup" in the commands console, and chose Network configuration.

Turn your CentOS Virtual Machine OFF
-->Click Edit Virtual Machine Settings

On the 4th line there is an option named ethernet click it!
Change your network connection, instead of Bridge
Change it to
Custom: Specific Virtual Network
-VMnet0 (default bridge)

Start/Restart CentOS^_^ and your dONE!!!!!!:lol:

To know your ip bcuz u dont know yet what it is cuz you set it to dynamic^_^

in console login

then type ifconfig you will see your ip there^_^

I really don't know there. Lots of people do have weird problems connecting to virtual machines though and i really don't know why, i use vmware a huge amount both at home and at work and i have never had these problems. It always seems to happen to people with routers.

I notice your "node type" shows as "unknown" which doesn't seem correct.
