CentOS on VMWare with NAT (not bridged) connection

CentOS on VMWare with NAT (not bridged) connection

has anyone tried this and got it working on LAN and online?

if yes, can someone share the guide how to do it? thanks!

i tried but only the server pc can connect, others on LAN can't and im sure it's the same for WAN (online).

i tried both nat and bridge.

default nat : same pc can connect. no one else. (default* - nothing else added)

default bridge : allows outside connection, and it is what im using.

umm i'm not sure how to fix this problem i can connect but no one elce can connect

Restarting a 3 year old topic probably wasn't the best idea.

We need to know more about how you have set everything up to be able to answer you. Mainly we need to know if you have a router and whether you have chosen the correct IP addresses. There are 2 networking guides in my sig which may help.
