Hmmmmmm. Paint shop pro is free wear n does my head in when trying to use it. Photoshop is the industry standard . I did my qualification in photoretouching in paintshop pro tho

$109 is quite a lot for something that is free.

Photoshop is good because it can do a lot more, however it isn't needed for make a banner.

Most people that act all cool with Photoshop don't use a thing of the program that Paint Shop Pro actually can't do.

Those same people are also most of the time bragging about a product that they downloaded, which brings me to the point, why brag?

I got PS somewhere on a CD, i can't be bothered with it, there isn't a single feature that i need to make banners or whatever i use to make things, so why use it?

Besides PSP works easier.

Oh and PSP certainly isn't a bad program, it's rated as second best on the market, which ofcourse PS leads, however it is rated more user friendly, and way cheaper.

So unless you really do stuff at professional level then don't bother about PS.

Well i certainly won't say PSP is better, because it sure ain't, but for simple things it's much easier, and it has a lot of advanced editing options.

macromedia fireworks is pretty good as well too i heard
