Creating 1.25 to 1.50 New Server

Ok got some questions:

So far I have successfully been able to use a working 1.25 server. Problems starting happening after I went for the 1.5 upgrade.

Did everything to the letter in the other tutorials: However what do some people mean when they say, "I use the 'Port Patch' on 'T4c server.exe' and change it's port to '20000' "

What program are they using to change the port of the file itself?

So far my settings are this:

Imported WDE files with Storm
Patched Client with 2.0 graphics
T4C CPL Server Port: 11677
Proxy Port: 11676

Everything goes well at first: Server Starts fine, Proxy starts fine, then when I go to connect on the 1.5 Client I keep getting "Cannot connect to server"

What english patch?
I've alrady got a ton of files, but I don't remeber any english patch in them.

Ok I already got that.
I got thigns working now, I followed Legends advice on a very OLD post he did. Took awhile of Digging:

Adding the IP and SUB to the local definitions fixed everything.

hm for me it worked when i change the t4c server cpl port to 20000
and the proxy to 11677
then it should work ^^
