for websites etc, yes.
but if you will use it in photoshop it will come out handy to use it as a pattern. its faster and you dont need to copy paste.

Tutorial isn't bad, you should probably touch up your grammar a bit.. Also, Error 404 did in 30 seconds, what you did in i'm guessing 30 minutes.
