Dedicated server problem

Hello, I installed the server and it works fine, the only problem is when I close remote desktop to the server it closes anything I have open. When we used to run the WoW private server we used firedaemon so it the process would keep running and would self restart on crash. We tried to make matchserver be started via firedaemon and it says it is running, but it isn't, and when we use that gunz private server port checker only the http is found working right. If we start the process and keep remote desktop up, all the ports are found right.

I was wondering if any of you have any idea of what we can do to fix this, because we really want to run a private dedicated server.
