[Discuss] Preventing ban evasions?

Apparently there is this so called "Ban Evade" client which somehow magically sends packets and data to the server with incorrect IP, username, and account. In addition to that, it prevents !ban command to kick someone and dc them, with that also in mind. The MYsQL database doesn't record the ban either. Any way to prevent these major hackers from bypassing an internal ban?

Making up bullshit fails more than what i wrote.
Before he starts discussing shit i suggest he gets proof,
I just hate the fact that people assume shit is more than what it is.
It's the GM Police shit and it can be easily fixed.
Its not a fuckin client edit that changes some next shit.

He just jumped to conclusions when all this is is the GM Police exploit.

ever heard of a rumor? its possible that yes, his GM Police and/or his ban command isn't properly done, but this is what he was told and thats what he wants to know. there's no need to be a complete and utter dick about someone asking for help. it's people like you and response's like that, that are the cause for RZ going downhill. again, just because you know something that someone else doesn't, does NOT give you the right to be an anal retentive dick.

EDIT: I'd also like to add that you do NOT know everything and that it could be possible for someone to create such a client. I'm not saying it is around or does exist, i'm just saying that it is possible.

No, the command works fine. I have banned numerous people with the ban command successfully without any problems. And there is a way to edit the client so that you can ban evade from the ban command, that is why it was improved numerous times in V55 to prevent people from evading a frustrating ban.

However, 1 out of 20 new members have the Ban Evasions, when I ban them the message say it banned them but they come back again, and again, and again. However, when i do it on easy ban-able users they whine that they were not hacking blah blah, and are banned. What pisses me off even more is that fact they even prove to me that something is fishy, for example: "Ban me, GM, you cannot ban me I keep coming back". What the hell do you know, he is BACK!?? There is something fishy going on...

I"m 100% positive that someone released a non-ban-able client or hack of some sort. I have done it myself back when V55 was out and glitchy with !ban. Developers are getting lazy that is why this is happening.

I really do not see why so many of you idiots have to start flaming at me and say Prove it, and start saying its my fault. First, i am not the owner of the server, second i don't know coding like the rest of you who actually even give a flying hoot about games.

I'm trying to just find out if anyone has experience this before and has figures a more effective way to !ban teh !ban evade.

All the people that play on your server get their ip address logged in your database.

There is no way to evade a ban.

The only way would be to hack into the hosting database and unban yourself.
