Unless you give me time to get better so I can write it all up...
There are Several dozen locations that the database login credentials need to be changed.
Source code and config files.
I am absolutely sick as a dog, if I cannot bring my temperature down this morning I'm heading to the ER.
It's all I can do to make myself login and check on things this morning.
Please hang tight in the meantime.

why not just change the source so it loads the db data from a single config file? ill definately do that as soon as i start working on this stuff unless someone else did it until then

will it be compatible to a 32bit system?? coz i've saw the exe in the previous post dat der is X64 exe...
well..am wondering if i test this to my 32bit system..

I dont think so that these files will work under x86 core, since its compiled specially for x64, and how you will use these files under x86 bit when the max ram is 3GB which means the loginserver usage ^^

Client works fine under x86 but not the Server thats sure.

Since i got everything Public running i did a Screenshot with High Settings. Maybe i missed something (since i can't read chinese)
But hey - it looks epic :)
And yes - it's the public Client not the DevClient...

Edit: Does anyone have the BIN\Data\GUI\EN\ folder?
Because there are some Images which are used who contains Text and in this Release
it only contains the CHT/KOR Folder x.x

I have this problem into Zone Server, checking possibilities:

D:\tw\PostService\GameData\ServerData\Bin\ZoneServer>ZoneServerRS_x64.exe -start

The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is in
correct. Please see the application event log or use the command-line sxstrace.e
xe tool for more detail.



Experience rate is stored in dfs files? anyone know it?

This is the best answer I'm giving right now.
1. We haven't but had the code for 5 days.
2. I need to physically feel better.
3. Those services are split in case they are ran on individual machines (especially where login, world and zone servers are concerned). I'm not ready to force them to read from one config until I know the exact extent of system resources required when more than a player or two are actually online. You'll probably find that these configs need to stay exactly as they are so that people can split the load. Zone server with 1 player is 3.6 GB RAM, what happens when 5 players come in at different locations, switching zones, and zone server is controlling all those spawns as well?

Its not time to "merge" until I know facts and the translations are complete.
That is my answer.

whow okay you definately got me wrong :D i didnt mean you should do it, neither did i mean that it needs to be done right now .. its just that it sounded like the database login data was stored inside the code itself, but from your other post i can see they all are in config files so no need to change anything at all ^^ before i publish another idea of mine i will first get everything to run and see through the whole code

edit the xls then convert it to dfs !, there is already a tool included in the source code

Just translated every single xls and packed them.... Just figured out that there are more Sheets in a single xls file -.-" xD

Btw - v1.0.20.499 EN_PH Client found on a Torrent Site.
QuickBMS only extracted a few Files out of the gfpk files -.-"

Looks like I'm not the only person that believes in using both Dynamic and Static ports since it doesn't matter.
Server always uses Static first (unless the static becomes blocked, which then falls back on dynamic).
This is only to show you that it is common practice, not to stir another PM convo up.

I highlighted the specific part...
As soon as something runs on this Port before the SQL Server is able to start, it may run but on another Port.
Server is configured to Connect to Port 1433 (which will not be changed on your Releases)
so it may happen that someone will have Problems because his SQL Server is running on another Port -.-"

It cannot happen, unless they physically Block port 1433 or configure the Default that I show in the video to something else.
This is what I keep referring to.
It is physically Impossible.


What I'm saying is. If they followed the video. They Did set it to 1433... that is the definite bottom line.
There is no physical way the Static can now be different Unless blocked by the Firewall on Purpose.

There is nothing further to say one way or the other.
Bottom line. Impossible.
