i have a problem with my divx movies and shows i download.

what it is, i downloaded all The O.C. episodes, they're ripped by various softwares. most of them play picture perfect, however one or two are fucked,

i have divx bundle 5.1, but the programs are still jerking, one jerks so badly its juyst the occasional still frame.

does anyone know any solutions to this?

i think it might be releate to my grafix card or lack of one see i only gots a 4mb onboard grafix card.

woo another O.C fan and i had same problem mate download sumthing caled fourcc that will fix ur problem right up :)

thanks alot guys i luv y'all ^_^ i'm obsessed with the oc :s

another issue i had was the sounds start going faster than the actual movie, they start off talking like blah blah, but after a while the actual video is just saying the sentence that the audio said like a couple of lines ago :s i'll try these codecs thanks guys!! and gals

lol, this just looks like a nuked rip.... sorry hun,

when the sound isn't in sync with the image its either a bad rip, or u ve got a lagging pc/graphics card/bad codec...

btw... ace has always been the codec i ve used, and i ve never been having a prob. And it isn't because i dont watch a lot of movies ;)... im kinda freaky about anime so :tp:

neway, it just looks like a bad rip to me...

kk guys thx alot, actually it was the ACE thing which made the videos like that, also i then installed that fourcc (its actually something like 3ivx) and it worked fine, the first time but if i closed the player (had to be mplayer2) and then reopened it again and played the same file which worked a sec ago, i get bad picture again, so i uninstalled both codecs. i did however notice i only have direct x 5 so i now have direct x 9 and they play a treat, thanks alot for the help. however the sound is still laggy so i guess its my computer being a hoe.

and btw cap, i dont really need a grafix card, why should i spend 60-100 quid on a grafix to watch a few shows that will be out on dvd soon?
