Do Ants fart?

Like termites..yes. Termites are the #1 producer of Methane gas in the world. They produce most of it because of what they eat.

Ants are the same way, but they produce very little. It's probably 1000 termites to 1 human for everyday methane production. So 9 billion humans and 40 trillion termites :O

Yeah, I heard this on the radio too. The next day they had a supposed actual recording of it.

Anything that eats produces gas. ;)

Apparently vegaterianism stops you farting. Hitler was supposed to have been really flatulent because of all the meat he ate and his dietritions used to prescribe veggy meals to him.

Thats ofcourse bullcrap, its more likely the other way around. After all, the two things most likely to give you gass are beans and unions, and last I checked, those weren't meat. In fact, most species that produce methane, such as ants or cows for instance, are herbivores. One may further deduct that veggies stink, and this tends to be true in more then one way in my humble opinion

As for ants, dunno, more important question: who the f*ck cares? :icon6:

^ thats wrong, maybe for their size they produce a lot, but fact is cows produce the most Methane gas in the world, hence it being in the news so much as being worse for the environment than cars. 40 trillion? someone get out their guess calculator? :P

The process of producing methane is a reaction between the food produced and the actual processing of it in our stomaches some foods react differently with stomach acids and the like. In theory all things that eat, produce gas as a bye product.
