As the topic says do you trust your Government... regardless of what country you are in...

I was talking with friends and it was the general consensus that our government
(UsA) is a decaying shadow of its former self... and has become abusive of its power... and or has acquired to much power... we also thought that the system of checks and balances is no longer very effective in preventing govt. corruption ... think about it for a few minutes before you vote... do you believe your govt. honestly has the best intentions for you?

Currently no, the recent vote in my country shifted power too a side that has always proven too suck. But, you know lots of commercials and people vote for them

You can't trust any government that you are not the leader of. There is so much that goes own that they do not tell you. Do I trust my government? Nope as I know what the hell they do and not tell about.

Do I have faith in them to do whats right to keep us going? Yes I do. They will get it down, but not for the reasons they tell us.

No one will truly ever trust there government simply because they don't always feel in control. Plus the amount of promises party's drop to the table for a vote ending up turning into crap happens every time.

Do i trust my govt? HELL NO.... Govt say will catch the murder of the crime.... reduce the rate of crime.... reduce corruption and etc... But in the end. i cant find any difference..

Even when i go buy some food near my home... The seller even complain about the Prime Minister in talking crap everyday... And also, Cops in msia is useless... Last time when my home get broken in by thief,damn the cops take about 1 hour++ reach even my house not really far frm the police station.

Also, police corruption in my country is damn obvious. example if u break the traffic law and get caught on spot, u can just pay them about RM50-100 (about 20-40 Us dollar) then they will let u go....

And when they caught small thief or snatcher, they even put it in newspaper LOL.... Damn funny here...

So,i think my country gov is totally PRO in crap!

To me, politics and the government don't exist. I'm turning 20 in 5 days and I refuse to sign up to vote. I just don't see the point in voting. I'm Australian and no matter how many people vote AGAINST John Howard, he's still re-elected. I think it's just one big conspiracy that I refuse to be a part of!

The Canadian government is a lot better than the US, for example, it was BIG news when the Liberals (political party) spent 100 million dollars on promoting the Nation. The Liberals didn't use it well enough, so there was a big inquiry into what happened and stuff.
