I'm not sure this has been posted earlier but here it is...
Facinating documentary by a renowned professor. It's a short documentary but it's interesting.

In the 1960s, Dr. Peter Witt gave spiders various kinds of drugs and alcohol to observe the effects on their webs. The results were pretty interesting.
