how do i change how the Elements look i tryed editing sfx.mrs and it did not work....

can any one help me out here?

i'm trying to make one with the element earth, just like that one of the goblin king for example.

But i cant figure out how to change the elu files

yer, um.. i saw some one has changed it!
in one of the posts for a new map(wood town)

you cant change the effect itself only the color/way it looks, and that is done by editing the texture (.dds) that is accociated with it.

i did that no change!

i changed ef_lightening.bmp.dds
and i got the same blue lighting!

u dont need to change elu, just switch "skills"

(thats a hint)

i dont want hints i want to know how

hints are point less to me becuse i have yet to get what one has meant yet!

what would skill.xml have to do with it?
all its got that would b use full is what one to edit I HAVE DONE THIS...
