"error in 'item_template' table" error

so i followed the guide to starting a mangos 1.12.1 server, and want to run it offline for myself, and when i run mangosd.exe i get the error message:

error in 'item_template' table, probably sql file format was updated (there should be 121 fields in sql).

if i run wow.exe after the magosd.exe gives this error i'm stuck on a looping realm selection. i searched the forums beforehand for a solution to this problem but from what i found there was never a definite answer given, or the original poster with the problem never came back and said what it was that solved it. if anyone knows what i am doing incorrectly please help. thanks!

edit: i think i should update my database to silver's DB. how do i do that?

okay, i've got it working, and the mangosd.exe file is doing it's thing. can anyone tell me how long i should expect it to take to finish? i'm running a core 2 duo processor at 2.40ghz with 2gb of ram.
