Error loading maps for outsiders.

What I mean by outsiders is that when someone connects to my server and connect to a map, it doesn't connect. A friend of mine told me that when they try to connect to the map they would be trying to connect to the IP in my rmServer.ini. I've tryed to put my external IP in there and running the maps but it just gives me "Connection to Map Center failed". The only way I don't get that error is if I set all the IP's to 192.168.0.6 which is my localhost. Does anyone know how I can fix this so that people can load maps instead of them not loading? Thanks, I would greatly appreciate any help.

I am behind a firewall, but I have openen all the ports needed for hosting. I've opened 10100-20100 because they all range around there.

I finally figured out how to host a server on a network and if you're on a firewall. I'll post it up after I get all the steps to setting it up.

I've been wrestling with this one myself ..

Although I'd like to know if you have resolved ...

Internal LAN play .. with external visiting players ...

From what I've been able to read .. it's either or .. not both .. have you found this to be so?

If you could inlcude a how to on getting both internal LAN players behind the firewall and the external players via the public IP through the firewall playing at the same time .. I'd greatly appreciat it ...

Additionally... If one has a dhcp ip address assigned by the ISP .. have you had any success with something like WINIP .. from thatip.com to resolve and keep resolved the public ip addresses to the visiting players ...

well, to get LAN players to play it should just be simple. Just put your internal IP into the info.dll on one of your LAN computers with all your maps up on the primary server computer and it should connect. But I think this way of fixing it should work very well because it worked for a friend of mine and he couldn't get anyone to load maps till I told him how to fix it. I have it writen in notepad and still finishing it, I should have it up in about an hour or 2. I'll make a new post with it and probably make it sticky so everyone can see it. Keep a look out for it!
