Essendon may have been forced in 'drugs reveal'

Not sure if there's any AFL fans here, but the Essendon football club is under investigation after it was revealed many players at the club had been taking performance enhancing drugs, including the captain and Brownlow winner Jobe Watson.

Shocking news, apparently they were also getting the drugs from organized-crime groups.

Don't really care for AFL but there's always going to PEDs in sports especially when the doping agencies are always behind and playing catch up to today's PEDs which by the time they can detect them and bring rules/guidelines, there's another product out that's undetectable and not technically not banned.

Probably just a media build up, since it's the off season and they have nothing to write about in terms of sport because there's only basically cricket going on. An organised crime group doesn't automatically mean 'bikies' cooking PEDs in bathtubs and el cheapo equipment like what I've seen in the news the past week.

Probably, but there's a few chance that isn't the case. In the press conference held, they didn't deny anything and seemed really nervous/edgy.

Yeah I'm not a fan either...I sorta go for the Sydney Swans when they play too!
It is shocking that it is not just 1 person from the Essendon team taking drugs but...the CAPTAIN TOO!...woww...let's see how the investigation goes

Yeah.. also the fact the club made every player sign a form before taking the drugs etc.

Don't really keep up with the Aussie football teams but this seems pretty serious. He's going to get one big ass ban if he has.
