Failed to connect

For some reasons, after following the guides on setting up my own private server..

When I LOG IN my GM account, it pops out a 'failed to connect to server' how do i resolve this?

Hi,I also Have some problem...but i know why you get fail to connect..For some reason:
1.you don't have open runserversql
2.your server file got some problem.
3.you don't have set the eAthena file setting correctly

That's some answer...If you still got problem.. then i really can't help you=.=
Because i also got problem to connect my own server.. it also say Unregister id =.=
And sorry about my bad english /swt...

well i managed to fix my problem... i was testing it first so i was planning to run it on localhost.. but somehow got it resolved...
