Hello everyone, i will buy soon a root server (my first one)
Do i need Plesk to create an kalonline server?

Or do i don't need it,
remember it's then my first server, what you say?

- FATAL

Plesk is for webservers (add domains, control ftp and mysql etc.)

Make sure you buy a DEDICATED server with Windows and not a WEBSERVER with unix

kk its a DEDICATED windows server (web edition 2008) can i use him?
here the link from the root:

so i can't install msql on the root server?

edit: i found a cheaper server with Windows 2003 Server WebEdition.
So my question, is this root server able for a kalonline server?

stats:
1.20+ GHz
1 GB DDR 1/2
HDD: 250 GB
Traffic: Unlimited

don't get web edition! get standard 2003... If you go for web edition, choose 2008. No you cant use 2000 without SP4 on it, but you can use 2005 without problems
