I've never seen any working quests in lineage other than the class change, events, and pet quests (I suppose mob raids...nah those don't really count) and I'm sure WoW has many, many quests.
There's only one game I know that beats both of them when it comes to quests (in the thousands) but I've said the name too much on here :x...

you just don't have to do most of the quests but they are there, if you like that sort of thing.

really you can get by with very little. There aren't thousands, but I haven't done them all yet
