You should happen to know him if you watched the 2006 fifaworld cup of france or is alert about German's football.
But there is something wrong with this guy's ewight. as you know. he is a well known midfielder who takes the ball and go all the way down the flank for crossing. which means hes position requires him to get through several defenders, and lots of running, properly the most as a footballer. but when i view his profile at certain web via google, example http://www.fcbayern.t-home.de/en/teams/profis/00401.php
numerous of them claimed that id he weigh 72kg, with 1.7m height..
thats like his bmi equals to 24.9! (72 / 1.7square) 25bmi equals overweight. means hes only 1 kg to overweight, and i'm now like wtf, how can dat be, he had 6 packs and his sprint is top notch. his dribble skill, reaction is one of the best in the world imo, and he gets 100k weekly for being a professional football athlete.
Some others profile do claim he weigh 62kg. (much normal) (62 / 1.7square =21.45bmi) but can anyone confirm this?
christiano ronaldo is 1.84(14cm taller), but his weight is only 3kg heavier than ribery at 75.

anyway

so if the weight recommendation are the same for both genders nowadays,(still doubtful to me though) then he really is overweight even if hes still looks fit with the weight?

But I do believes societies all over the world are still using BMI to determine overweight or acceptable. If BMI is indeed flawed rubbish, then why aren't they removed?
Doesn't these just make men more likely to be overweight than women?

So nobody knows much about Franck Ribery's real weight?

Weight takes alot into consideration when it comes to running, Average weight people are able to run longer, faster than chubby size, now can you imagine someone with 72kg, 1.7m height being a sprinter at midfield? Its just weird, lets wait for a german who knows lots about Franck Ribery.

bmi can be used for some1 as a relative guide when trying to lose or gain weight for health reasons, it quickly becomes useless as your body begins to develop from correct diet and exercise. For an athlete it's pretty much useless to start with though.
