The only spam I get is things I mark as spam. There hasn't been anything new in my spam box for a week now. The awesome interface makes up for the ads.

I never get spam with Gmail <3. Though the interface for Yahoo is nice, though I prefer simple.

Has always been free tbh. Google invites all take you to the same page which you can just bookmark and give out with no limit. And google has never cared. It scans all of your emails and then give you tons of ads on the side that relates to your message. So in the end they make so much on advertisements which will just let them charge more for it when they have more clients for the email.
