game.exe and server.exe

how can i change the ip of game.exe and if server.exe need to be changed the ip before i can connect then how too? please help me thanks.

A good bit of firewalls will also tell you what IP the game.exe is trying to connect to. Once you obtain that, ctrl+f the IP via hex and replace it with yours (or localhost -> 127.0.0.1). Null out all excess bytes (replace with 00).

Why a firewall ?

Because most people have firewalls installed already.
