Does anyone here know how to use Dreamweaver?

I have CS3 installed and I made some cool website layouts. But I don't know how to apply them to the website anyone?

Re: Dreamweaver?

Dreamweaver is easy to use actually, however, I'm at the point now where I just use it to color code my txt and auto-upload when I press ctrl+s.
There's an option in there that lets you set a default template (a layout) to every site within a project. I think the easiest way would be to do that. Course' that all depends on you made the layout in the first place lol

Re: Dreamweaver?

Dreamweaver is nice, I always use it. In code mode though, since the design mode is really abysmal. I use it for syntax highlighting, automatic added close tags and PHP function lists with parameters...also for colour choosing :P.

Re: Dreamweaver?

notepad++ is just enough for php and html, I tend to use some microsoft shit(expresion or something) to format my css files though ;P but I'm strongly against using any wysiwyg editor.
Ehh sometimes it helps so you can see where something is coming out. It's kinda like a little checking system. I don't rely on it though lol
But if I knew of an editor that auto-uploaded on save and did a nice job color-coding and formatting I would drop DW pretty quick. It couldn't possibly be as massive as DW lol (bigger is not always better).

This topic is going a little off-topic now lol

I wish i could code in notepad. xD me s noob

Then you haven't taken the time to learn HTML. It's incredible easy to learn, it's not even close to coding. When I was 12 I was already able to make layouts ^^

hey that's one of my favorite toys ;)

regarding some newbies, slice and export is way full of bugs n shit
learn to code a full template based on CSS and XHTML
