getting past ''Connecting to server, Please wait.'' Mir3

i makin my own server and i got just about everything sorted but when i load it up i get past the select char screen and then theres a part saying,

[Connecting to Server, Please wait....]

and thats as far as it gets, any1 know how to get further? or whats wrong and how i can sort it?
plz post and help

dont expect anyone help u there >.<! i had exact same problem.
after a week i gave up...

most propably u use the wrong mirX.exe
there r different mirX.exe needed for either msrf2.9 server and 2004 server

the korean exe (from korean client) wont connect at all
