This made me sad and I'm not going to lie that the indepth story brought a tear to my eye. A 10 year old cancer stricken California girl's dying wish was to see the movie 'UP'. Pixar brought a DVD copy of it to her house (since she was too sick to go out) and she passed away later that night after watching it.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (AP) -- Colby Curtin got her final wish. The 10-year-old girl desperately wanted to see the new Disney-Pixar movie, "Up." But the cancer-stricken girl was too sick to go to a theater. Thanks to a family friend who got in touch with the movie studio Pixar, an employee of the Emeryville-based company arrived at Colby's home with a DVD copy of the movie, The Orange County Register reported Friday. The girl died later that night.

well... the thing that caught me was Pixar sending someone to rush all the way to her home with the dvd, some toys and posters whatever as soon as they could. thats really sweet of them to do that... i mean they could like... "this is a F***ing economic crisis, you're expecting me to f***ing waste my money and time on someone whos gonna die???" i mean... yeah well.

Not to be heartless or anything, but god damn. Am I the only one on this forum who really doesn't give a shit about this stuff? lol

/ agree.

ALSO... anyone seen the movie "Fanboys"? The EXACT same thing happens, but with the Star Wars movie instead. Nobody lies a copy-cat.

well i do care about this... People should care about this type of news, it changes you.
Also Pixar did the right thing and people should give credits to that, not every company complies to please a girl`s wish.

Feel sorry for her :/:

Man that's terrible, hope the movie was good.
