I really hate how gaming companies has to restrict people from different regions to play their games. Like how are they suppose to get a huge amount of people to be interested if it only caters people from NA or EU.

Maybe because if you would have access to EU or NA servers, it would be a terrible experience for you? Because no Asian servers exist? And if the demand in asia is big they'll probably sell a license to an asian company, or open up an asian server. But what's the point in opening an asian server if only ~30-50 people play it?
