Lightsource at wrong place, Smuding doesn't blend, Liquifiying the C4D isn't nice , Bad background used.
I can't see anything nice and this isn't your best. IMO the one in your signature is nicer.

I think you need to work harder on colors, specially on background.
Maybe it would be a great first step, to try to generate a background from your render colors. A couple of motion blurs, pointing to different directions, and some brushes overlayed, would be the most simple way.
You could use clouds too... use your imagination

Not a bad sign overall, you got good concepts, but need more practice on ps, just a matter of time
