[GUIDE] 2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 Field Server with Pictures

REQUIRED TO BE CONFIGURE/EDIT
1) ODBC Native Client for RanGame1, RanLog, RanShop, RanUser
2) maps.ini
3) maps.list
4) Field.ini or Field.cfg inside ServerFiles\Cfg Folder (2nd PC).
5) Field2.ini or Field.cfg inside ServerFiles\Cfg Folder (3rd PC).
6) Agent.ini or Agent.cfg inside ServerFiles\Cfg Folder (1st PC).

Note: You can setup this in the same PC or in Separate PC(Must be at the same Lan/HUB and the same Protocol). If you setup this in the same PC, Better to use 1 field because nothing will will change, the Lags not Change.

FIRST GUIDE
Setting Up Your Databases for RanGame1

1) Open the Start>Control Panel>Administrative Tools

2) Open the Data Source(ODBC)

3) Click The Add Button

4) Follw the Instructions in the image

5) Put the RanGame1 in dbName Input, Leave the Blank in the second input field and Put the Server Auth. Name in Server Name Input as you can see in the picture below.

6) Now Refer to the Picture below.. Compare it your current configuration.

7) Input again the RanGame1 in this Portion as shown in the picture below then press next.

8) Don't change anything in this portion just click finish

9) Now the last part checking your configuration for RanGame1 ODBC is right.. Just click TEST DATA SOURCE before click OK.

And now the ODBC is now done for configuration, lets go to the main part of this guide.

SECOND GUIDE
Setting Up Your Field Servers

1) First.. edit your GLOGIC.RCC/map.list and maps.ini edit this line

COLOR CODING
The first Field will handle the map field server 0
The second Field will handle the map field server 1

2) Now Configuring the Field Server

First open the first field server .cfg or .ini

server_name Field1

server_service_port 5103

server_field 0 // field number

Second Field

server_name Field2

server_service_port 5104

server_field 1 // field number

3) Now Open the Agent .cfg or .ini

Change this line

field_server 0 0 Field1 YOURIP 5103
field_server 0 1 Field2 YOURIP 5104

Now when you start your server you will notice that Filed1 and Field2 will load and add a new map that assigned by the maps.ini and map.list

Note: You can Add field server number until you reach field server 9.. 1 Field = 1 unit ^__^ if you add new field edit your maps.ini and maps.list and repatch your client and restart your server ^___^ thats all guyz thanks ^__^ Hope this will help you!

how much upstream idoes ur connection have?
1mb+ upload?

whats ur conn speed? download and upload

i got only 2mb in my connection speed but i don't know how much is my upstream/upload rate

players depend on upload stream/upload rate ur conn have.
i have 384kbps upload stream can only handle 100 players online

yes me 2 i can handle 100 players but i currently have 50+ players

Guide is lacking.

i test 2 field server i got 3 unit 1 laptop for SESSION, LOGIN, AGENT.. 2 DESKTOP for 2 field server..

The connection between the SQL Database, ODBC settings for each PC server.

don't mind the conn on separate pc.

here's the steps.
first. have a main server. main server= odbc. database.
second. connect all field servers in the main server. using cfg settings. changing the ports.
it should work. it worked for me. before this guide was posted.

changing the ip address not the ports

All of the members here are not that pro that will easily understand about the settings.

Just what i have said.. Include the guide, IM REFERRING TO THE NEWBIES will keep on asking and SPAMMMMMMMMMMMING new post.. Im getting tired of this..

if you host it on 2 pcs like that the game doesn't even work!!
I tryed it out, char keeps fail to process and the field servers show unknown chinese errors each time

got any better server files? I don't think so, I use the files from ianz
besides the problem comes because field server needs database and agent server needs it too, unless you know how to link the SQL database to 2 pcs it will not work (to me at least)

Bro this settings is working my 2nd field is separate from the first field, agent, login, session.. only the agent, login, session is in one PC my first field is separate also in the second field, login, session and agent.. you can use this setting to add a new server names and channels just to be sure that all of your server units is in 1 local area same protocol

yes jolin i got my server files reading not .ini files it can reads .txt ex: itemSTRtable.txt, skillSTRtable.txt but i tried it to ianz server files( reading .ini files) it also works bro ^__^
