[Guide] Manually Patching kRO and Sakray !

This is a guide for those who can't patch there kRO and Sakray because it seems to keep freezing on you during update.

Patching kRO ! This part of the guide is for manually updating kRO only !​

Step 1. Go to this ftp server

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

and download the files you need. If you don't know where to start go back to your folder where you have Ragnarok.exe. Click on it and wait till you see the first file being updated. You are interested in the dates for example : 2007-07-27. If the first file being updated is 2007-07-27 then you would go back to the ftp server and download all files after 2007-07-27.

For Example:

You are interested in 2007-07-27 and later. Download all files besides gameguard_tachyonx.rgz. This is only an examply. If it says 2007-07-27 on your first file being updated on ragnarok.exe you would download the files in blue and later till the end.

I recommend downloading this into a new folder instead of directly downloading it into your client folder, so if you make a mistake you can easily copy and paste it back into the client folder.
Make sure you download Patchup.exe.

Step 2. Copy and paste all the downloaded files from the ftp server into your client folder. (Gravity/RO/)

Step 3. Click on Patchup.exe to manually patch all the files downloaded. To see if the patching was a success the files you have downloaded should have disappeared. If you still see the files you have downloaded, instead, click on ragnarok.exe.

Delete Patchup.exe

Patching Sakray ! This part of the guide is for manually updating Sakray only !​

Step 1. Patching Sakray is exactly the same as patching kRO but two things are different. The files in the ftp server for sakray is in a different folder and the patching file is called sakup.exe instead of patchup.exe. Here is the link to the files.

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

. Remember you need to know which files you need to download, and by doing that you need to click on sakray.exe and look at the date of the first file being updated.

Do not download the following files:

Make sure you download Sakup.exe

Step 2. Copy and paste all the downloaded files from the ftp server into your client folder. (Gravity/RO/)

Step 3. Click on Sakup.exe to patch all the files you have downloaded. To see if the patching was a success the files you have downloaded should have disappeared. If you still see the files you have downloaded, instead, click on sakray.exe.

Delete Sakup.exe
