[Guide] Mrs Unpacking for Newbs

If its your first time making a server or your just a newb(noob) then here is an easy guide of Mrs unpacking/packing. What you are going to need is the mrs unpacker which you can find on ragezone.

How to unpack:
1) make a folder called MRS any where on your computer.
2)Place the mrs unpacker and the mrs file you want unpacked in there.
3)Make a text file. Inside is wirte mrs d (mrs file name)
4)Then save as unpack.bat
5)It should have icon of gears, now launch it!!!

Options for noobs (mrs codes):
login.mrs=mrs d login.mrs
default.mrs=mrs d default.mrs
loadable.mrs=mrs d loadable.mrs

Its basically easy.

How to repack:
1)Go into that mrs folder
2)make a text file.Inside it write mrs d (folder name)
3)Then save as repack.bat
4)then gears will show and, now launch it!!!

Options for noobs (repack codes)
login.mrs=mrs c login
default.mrs=mrs c default
loadable.mrs=mrs c loadable

Here's a tutorial from the exe itself, if you can't follow this then you don't need to be messing with mrs files. Look at how much space I saved.

  .mrs files packer/unpacker v0.1 (c) by wad, 2005

  Usage: mrs.exe d|c filename
                 d - decompress archive to directory
                 c - compress directory to archive
  Examples:
    mrs.exe d system.mrs
       (unpack system.mrs to directory ./system/ )
    mrs.exe c system
       (make system.mrs and pack files ./system/*.* to it)
  Warning:
    Don't leave unpacked folders and/or backup files in the GunZ directory!

i am gona upload the batch files to make it easier for those noobs who are gay and messing with GunZ for no reason watsoeva LOL. but for know i am playing Demonz Rage GunZ hell ya it roks.

The best methods for me for unpacking mrs goes like this:
1.)
- place mrs.exe, zlib.dll, and a copy of command prompt exe (which can be found under this directory ..windows/system32/cmd.exe (not sure what its named but it has an icon that looks like this 'C:/' ) in one folder along with the mrs file youre going to decompress OR the folder youre going to compress.

-open the command prompt and type mrs.exe d/c (filename)
ex. mrs.exe d system.mrs
mrs.exe c system
and youre done.

2.) use thieving six's MRS advance file viewer
-open mrs, view file, extract all files.
problem with this is that it still has no compression feature.

:scratchmg guys my server wont connect... Did i do sumin wrong? it saids cannot access server and the debug server it saids legacygamers.net look at my gunz foldier -------->
