I just saw the entire series. And it is quite possibly the greatest anime I have ever seen. It's got everything; action, romance, comedy, and giant fucking robots. It's Epic...watch it now.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann takes place in a fictional future where human beings have been forced underground and thrive in isolated subterranean civilizations on Earth. These "villages" have no contact with the surface world or other villages. Since frequent earthquakes damage infrastructure, the villages must constantly expand deeper into the earth

It looks fairly old. Same animation As G Gundam.

I started watching this and I watched the first two episodes then decided it wasn't worth my time. Doesn't he have like this giant head as a robot and activates it through a drill-bit? If I'm right then we're talking about the same show

It aired on April 1, 2007 through September 30, 2007. So it's new if you're in the US I suppose. But it's awesome. Findz it onz the interwbz and watch itz nowz!

It gets so much better. You have to keep watching. I kinda felt the same at first. But, I think you will like Kamina later in the series.

Just watched the first episode now.

From the Opening song i thought it was guna be a bit childish.

But so far it really good ^^

Im on Episode 10 Now And OMG this anime has gota one of faves now.

i recommend to any who likes Outlawstar and Eureka Seven.

Finished Watching.

I started out really good then continued amazing until after the fall of the Capital.

It just got really Monotonous and boring with the whole My Mecha get bigger every episode.
