Release, in other words, means ejection of the brain through the nostrils, which can happen to one who spends too much time in Habbo Hotel. It has clearly happened to the user who posted that thread, and the thread was moved there by moderators, as noone else can Post in that subforum.

According to their profiles they are active, but as for not lurking and actually doing something... the last thread to be locked was at "Yesterday 08:28 PM", which is then preceded by a whole lot of threads that *should* have been locked according to the rules ("Help with server" - wow, I've never seen such a descriptive thread title in my whole life!), and then the next one is "07-01-2007 02:22 PM" all the way back on page 26. Curious, to say the least...

The problem with such busy sections is, no matter how devoted the mod is, eventually they'll burn out and then it starts to feel like a real job, a job which you don't get paid for. Results are shown in motivation.

edit: I don't blame a single mod for slacking. Something you do voluntarily with good intentions you should never get bashed for.

True. But it feels less of a chore if you're entertained by it.

...also, more moderators? I'd suggested they be from different timezones too. I think our current ones are getting put off due to the fact that they're faced with a large amount of new threads when they do log on.

Well it is always hard to keep somthing pure and clean as long as things like that dont float around for a while and the mods are maken some effort to keep it clean i think "Beggars cant be choosers" fits here. your in the section and u use its knowledge so live with how it works ...... but haven mods that know about it helps more cause then they can understand were some of the stupid threads and post come from .....

Madison does an amazing job as a moderator. No questioning her but sometimes the job does catch up wid her. Can be ignored.

As for NEW Moderators - Easy to talk but hard to find.
