I tried doing with my own DVR but spent 11hours in John179 and nothing of my password getting cracked =(

Maybe if you succeed you can help me crack my DVR's hash ?

i nerver hacked a dvr: but i think you might have a change if you debug its frimware propley posible with jtag/UART:laugh:
