Have you noticed a difference in the way you think, sleep, hear sounds, and/or see the sights around you? (?????)
I just had a discussion with a friend about how we've noticed that music has changed everything about our person. I can see an obvious difference in how I think and sleep and hear sounds and the things that I choose to notice visually. I feel I've become more distant yet more perceptive. I hear things in music I would have never heard a year ago and I experience things differently.
I haven't tried any new drugs in a couple years, so I doubt it's that.. I really just think that I've expanded my musical preferences to include a lot more abstract, conceptual music and it's altered me. I really like it though. Hmm..
If I seem scattered it's because this realization has freaked me out haha.

May sound like bull **** too you but

People listen to music because it sometimes reminds them of who they are, or waht they feel at times, and the more you listen to that music the more your personnality changes toward that piece of music, thats why alot of people get attached to there music

Well i could imagine a life without music would be very dull and boring, but i wouldn't say the music i listen to has changed my life because really i don't have a clue what I'd be like without it although i'm sure i'd be a little different.

I read a novel a long time ago (in middle school) called The Cure. It was about a perfect world where everybody wore masks and music didn't exist because of the problems it made. One person....well I forget what happens, but he has a deep lucid dream (or something) through this machine and goes back into the past to play the fiddle during the dark times. When he awoke he was terrified at the world (..I stopped early here's a link to the book summary)

I believe music is a part of everyone. It's a part of me; it's a part of you. Music in my life doesn't always mean brutal riffs and tasty-fucking solo's, it's about the complexity and metaphors that makes the music what it is (like rhapsody makes stories out of their songs).

Well, some guys overact. "Music is my life", I dont really think so. Maybe it changed you life. Done it to me

I don't know if you where aiming that at me, but just so you know... I've studied music ever since the 5th grade. I've taught music for 6 years. I am currently the drum instructor for my high school, and will be going to producing school to become a producer or to open my own recording studio. So when I say music IS my life I mean it 100%.

Well, looks like you don't know a thing about DaCheat (He's the one who said that).

word:thumbsup: haha

I rarely did listen to music before.. Now i've been up to music a few years and it have changed me alot

I couldn't imagine life without music o.O well, I could, and it would be dull. So yeah, music is a major influence in the way one thinks. Dunno if it changed my life, but it definitely adds mood to the atmosphere :P
