You can create a VM (Machine Virtuel) for run the servers to play localhost.

Dont forget to use the alpha source

Hello again, I have been trying to install the programs needed to set up and edit files/server for two days without success. I can't install some programs because they are outdated or I'm stupid. Is it even possible for this to work nowadays? Is there anyone here who knows this and could help me? we'll come to an agreement

If you want to try the game without needing a server, do what he says in this video. The languages are a bit difficult but follow what he did, except for alpha, the general sources and installations are the same.
