[Help] Antrix Server help

Ok, so i downloaded Anrix server and tried to run it, i got the error that a file was missing so i downloaded it and put it in the folder (msvcp71.dll) and now when i try to run it i get an application error saying it failed to initialize properly.

Any ideas on a how to fix this?

Can you post a screenshot?
And what rev of Antrix are you using?

I got that same problem when I tried running Antrix. I used djravines repack.

Ok that is the error i get.

I have got that error on all Antrix servers i have tried.

i just went over the files...
and there isnt suppose to be a 'msvcp71.dll'...
thats a mangos dll file... so this is very strange...

Thats the same message msn messenger 7.5 gives me when I exit it.

yeah.. it sounds more like an OS problem than a antrix issue...
have u gotten that error from any other programs?..

also.. i have noticed there are alot of ppl that are having realmlist looping issues...
even tho the configs are correct.. so im not sure..
i havent had as much experiance in antrix as mangos yet..
but i'll do my best to work it out...

Ok, well i tried to run it on my pc (Xp Media Centre) and i get no error, so what is up with it running on my server (XP Pro)?

I know why I get my error message with messenger, thats my own issue with not installing something..

But if your getting the same error that I get with messenger, then it's not Antrix, you need to install a few system files/updates to fix that.

I myself am not installing them for my own reasons, but take a look at this when you have some free time on your hands.

Now you will get that fixed, but as for realm loop issues, thats Antrix, not ur os

Like i've said on many many occasions, Antrix is still very young, and for that reason alone im going to use mangos for a while yet.

Use that link I posted, there is a reason why it's doing that.
But it's down to you to sort it out, im leaving it alone for my own reasons..

Ok, I think i have found a way to fix it!

I was looking at what was different to my pc and the server, and saw my server did not have .NET Framwork 2.0 installed. So i installed it and it seems to be working so far.

i too got it working on XP media centre but it wouldnt work on pro XD
im gona test it with microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 now.
