[HELP] Dynamic IP

Hi to all,

Once again I'm here looking for some answers on my problems..

I've already made my server and ready to lunch it.. But worst things happened.
My pc was a using a wireless connection and a dynamic ip....
My friends told me that i must use a static ip for them to be able to view my webpage and play in my server.

1. Do I still need a router?
2. They said that I must make a proxy server so that my ip will be static..Is this possible?
3. Do I need to make my IP Static..coz right now I'm using DHCP.

Sorry for being noob to ask these questions..

To view the content, you need to sign in or register

and download the program they have there...everytime your computer gets a new ip it will automaticly update your "Static" ip that you'll get from the site.

i got one as sandbird.mine.nu .... you can add that to your main.exe instead of an ip. It will work. Just make a name you like and add that instead of the ip it has.Just make sure the program from dyndns runs on your pc all the time and you wont have another problem

people can still view your site you dont need a static ip but having a static ip is good because you dont have to change the ip to your server files every time you get a different ip from provider but usually its double the price for a static ip they give you 5 ips but i have questions about mu server about that also can you add more then 5 ip? so you never have to change the ip but yeah go to noip.com and good place to go dns also download their program and input ur acc automatically refreshes u can set the time it checks for your ip changes

Uhmmm questions..

I mean when I use this, my webpage will be viewable by others..but how bout the game..
