Help Editing NPCDATA.txt L2O

What program do/would you guys use if you want to edit npcdata to alter exp/sp and adena drops ?
I was thinking about excel , but i dont like it and dont know how to use it!
So i was wondering wich text editing programs i can use to alter those big colums and mutiply them al at once ?

Any suggestions ?
