Budget airlines will not accept knives over 6 inches in length.

Proper airlines (like BA) will as long as you get written permission from them first.



Happened when my dad tried to take his knife over to Egypt ages ago.

ur not allowed 2 take knitting, cross-stitching, scissors or such like crafts as they are seen as a offence weapon Oo
not sure about this but ur not allowed 2 take injections onto the plane (medical reasons not illegal drugs), i remember sum1 saying they cudn't take their medication on plane but had 2 leave in suitcase.

you can buy all the katanas you want but if it was made by a japanese blacksmith then the part of the blade that goes into the handle will have their name on it
