[HELP] Get server online without KOSP/KOCP ?

Hi @ all.

I know that here are many posts with this problem, but i searched hours and i dont know exactly. :Confuzzle

I have the KalmaX v4 repack installed, but i only want to test this server on my local pc, so i dont need kosp/kocp protection.

1. I copied a clean MainSrvT in the KalmaX folder.
2. I created a new clean engine.exe with a new password.
3. I deleted the "protect.dll" from my KalmaX folder.

Ok, so my problem is, how to change config.pk & e.pk with the new password ?

I did: right click on "config.pk" and open winrar > select zip > kompression = 0 (saving) > add password from my new engine.exe > done > i renamed config(zip) to "config.pk" and the same also for "e.pk"
But what to do now with this config.pk(zip) file ???

I only get config error "NULL" if i try to start the launcher.

So, if some1 can help me ... pls do it :smilie3:

have to get the md5 value of your new pk files, then add to config.properties

you made engine by your own so you added the vista patch?Guide for engine.exe
if yes chance hshield folder ( guide from engine.exe last attachment)

mhh i dont know if its through changing .pk to .zip and back ...but use SharpCryp great tool for chancing something in config / e .pk

2. How about the "ClientVer.dat" ? So if i delete it from config-folder i get "config error NULL" ... and with this .dat i get "Incorrect file(s) is installed. Please reinstall the programm" ? oO

dont delet clientver.dat ..... take this

Btw. i copied the client-folder to another pc in lan...but if i want to login "unable to connect to the server" ? So what can i do, that i can connect like the other pc ?

edit: I cant see the "InitItem.text" clearly. If i open it i cant see the name from the item only "(name 2078)" . Whats that ?

2.open config.pk ->xlate.dat ->ip -> write your lan ip in it
3. scroll to the right side not just up and down xD
